Our Story
Our journey to honeybees
Apiary Select is a family business started by me (Jake), assisted by my wife Katherine and our two sons. I started beekeeping as a hobby in 2023, and decided to turn it into a business. Katherine and I are both US Army veterans that served tours in Iraq. We recently moved to Washington County, VA, not far from where Katherine grew up. Our small apiary made our first jars of honey for friends and family this spring, and we look forward to growing and selling a lot more honey in our community starting in Spring 2025.
